I visit Anchorage frequently to see family and always enjoy this hotel. However, the last few times I have stayed there, there has been no housekeeping service even for multi-night stays and even when requested.

Hotel overall shows heavy wear in the common areas carpets were dirty especially in the elevators! Two computers but only one worked, lights in common areas needed replaced burn out Breakfast was ok however toaster device was out of order? How do you make toast or heat up a bagel? You don’t Place id staffed with younger people who don’t have idea of customer service! Over priced! Hotel room shies wear low quality bedding and towels!

Check in was easy but no info was given regarding breakfast, pool, directions to our room. Towels for 3 were in our bathroom but we booked for 4 people. In the shower, the large refillable bottles of shampoo and body wash were empty. Pool was clean and good temperature. Breakfast was great with plenty of protein options.

Hyatt Place was okay. Called property multiple times and ways to get an airport shuttle to no avail. When i did get a voicemail box it was full and wouldn't accept a message. Front desk staff gereally aloof, and not very friendly. Room fairly clean, outside of the unfortunate discoloration of the shower pan. Chairs in lobby very dusty. Needs herbal tea in room.

When my daughter went to unfold the comforter it was just full of food crumbs and trash. She didn't end up sleeping on the fold out comforter because we were grossed out. Other than that, everything else was good. Nice and quiet, great location, and everything was minutes away by vehicle.

The staff was outstanding! Breakfast was also good. My issue is that I'm allergic to dogs, and they seemed to be everywhere, even in the eating area. That was the only negative for me.
