Perfect for a quick night after eating at the big Texan. Clean kitschy rooms. Bring your own shampoo, not sure if they just forgot or that’s the norm. Good explicit instructions to get in room made it easy for no front desk check in.

It was a very good stay. The area was great and bed was comfortable. The only issue we had was that there was no stopper in the bathtub.

We needed to book last minute and when we arrived I realized we needed a code to get in as the front desk is not manned. So we waited for about an hour with multiple phone calls trying to get our code. The place is Texas rustic (not in a cute way but more of a rough inexpensive way). It’s ok don’t get me wrong but I think if they had some money they could really take this to a better level which out putting in a ton of money. Convenient location. LOUD. We could hear the interstate all night. We seemed to be in the older building so we saw a bunch of cute remodeled rooms online but we got an old, dark, wooden room with a fly swatter on the wall. With that said, it was pretty clean, they were dog friendly, you can board horses and being able to go to your room with a key code was great! They need to clean up the property. Dog area was full of poo and the area around the buildings was gross.

Overall, really liked our stay. The ambiance of the room was very unique. There are some maintenance issues that need to be addressed. Some of the metal stair treads going up to the second floor need to be replaced. They are rusted through in spots.
