The room was very tired and dirty. I booked this hotel thinking it’s the newest of my choices in the area. The tiredness is evident of the lobby. The two yellow Barcelona chairs in the lobby looked very worn. The check in: We checked in late, maybe around 9pm. It took forever because the attendant was helping a hotel guest find her Amazon package(s). It is a resident style inn so people appears to stay there and the do get their mail there. This was very inconvenient considering it was already late.

We really wanted to like this hotel, the proximity to the beach is ideal and the rooms can hold larger families. However, we were disappointed from the moment we arrived. We were greeted with the smell of marijuana when we stepped out of the car, and once in the room, we realized it wasn’t going to get much better. The toilet seat was completely broken, and the towels and amenities had not be restocked. The front desk eventually dealt with these issues but it would have taken very little oversight to ensure a smoother stay from the start. The included buffet breakfast was terrible and empty by 8:30 so we ended up leaving to find something else to eat. I realize we should have limited expectations for a 3* hotel, however this property was a huge disappointment. We will not return.

Property was nice. Suite was nice. Location was nice. Breakfast was very enjoyable - lots of healthful offerings! Staff was meh. There was a problem with our original room assignment. No "Sorry that happened" or "Let me help you with that." I had to be the one to suggest a room reassignment. Clueless in customer care. $16/day parking was annoying & an unnecessary upsell. Aside from staff & parking, our stay was pleasant. Would I come back? Probably not. That says something if anyone is listening.

The room was clean, and ALL the staff was friendly and helpful. In particular, the front desk helped with various questions regarding locations (Restaurants, stores etc.) hours open and would help me with programming my phone to get there (I'm not tech savvy). Unfortunately, I did not get their names, but they appear indicative of your entire staff. I was thankful for the amenities on site (like the bar) so I didn't have to travel on an unknown area. I also liked that we could have our dog (family) with us. This is the MAIN CRITERIA for any hotel we select The only downside was the parking. I would much rather deal with minimal other costs. Rolling this into the stay is preferable. An annoyance, but acceptable. Having said this, I appreciate that all the costs were transparent. Overall, we had a great stay
