It's located 330 kilometres north of Madrid, the capital of Spain.

You'll find a number of charming natural sights just outside of Alevia. Why not set out 40 kilometres to Caves of Altamira? Alternatively, enjoy nature's artwork at Cares Gorge, 20 kilometres away.

Whether you're striving to improve your technique or just have fun and stay in one piece, Picos de Europa has the slopes you're after. Choose from Alto Campoo Ski Resort or Fuentes de Invierno.

If you're contemplating venturing outwards, journey 3 kilometres south to Penamellera Baja. This is where you'll discover Franca Beach and Bufones de Santiuste. We also recommend heading to Ribadedeva, 5 kilometres to the northeast, for Pindal Cave and Castrón de Santiuste.
