Spend more time off with the fairies than actually doing your job? Catch yourself looking at old travel posts again and again? Time for an Alet-les-Bains holiday. Hotel options in Alet-les-Bains' downtown area are pretty thin on the ground. But if you're okay with a short drive, you can comfortably stay in one of the 4 digs within 10 kilometres of the centre.

Planning to spend a good chunk of your time adventuring though the centre? the Château des Ducs de Joyeuse and Grand Hôtel Moderne et Pigeon are about as close as you'll get to the thick of the action.

If you want to stay within 4 kilometres of the heart of town, consider Cathar Castles. This neighbourhood has 7 hotels, including the Hôtel de France and the La Bastide Saint - Martin.
