When you stay at Akumal Bay Beach & Spa Resort in Akumal, you'll be by the sea, a 2-minute drive from Akumal Beach and 8 minutes from Half Moon Bay.
We only saw turtles when we went out of the resort and paid for the guides. The food from the buffet and room service gave us a tummy ache everyday unfortunately. The drinks were okay, there was not a lot to do to be honest. We had a decent time though and the staff was always there to help.
