It was a quiet property with lots of privacy. It was absolutely beautiful! We stayed in 11 hotels during our trip and this one holds a special place in our hearts. An unparalleled hotel.

A special retreat set in an amazing place

Lovely friendly welcome by Emma with a glass of Mimosa. A wonderful surprise that we had a hot tub and amazing views. The room was well equipped and very comfortable with extra little touches like the wireless phone charging and coffee machine. They also have geodome lounges in the garden with amazing views and we enjoyed watching the ducks on the pond. The food in the restaurant was first class as was breakfast. A special retreat set an amazing place.

Beautiful setting and delicious food! Owners are gracious. It’s a small place so one can feel under a microscope a bit. Granted we were stranded, so there was some stress there but the owners schedule of things were too intense for me. I have worked in hospitality and know that the guest is the number one… they are on holiday and relaxing. That is not the way this was.

We were blown away by the staff, who were laid back and helpful, giving excellent suggestions for local activities that you wouldn’t know based on the internet. Dinner and breakfast were both incredible. The room was clean and the views were stunning. One of the more expensive stays we had on our trip but worth every penny… my wife and I will remember this as the highlight of our Scotland trip.

Fantastic accommodation, location and service

Had a wonderful overnight stay en route to the Hebrides. The quality of the accommodation, food, service and attention to detail is outstanding with amazing views and lots of opportunities for walks and cycling. Accommodating food allergies not a problem. Would certainly return.?
