Stayed at the Westin last year in a room that was supposed to be second from the top type of room they have and I found the standard room here to be much better and a cheaper stay. The staff at check in were efficient and friendly. The staff at Glass also lovely and helpful. I'd go back again.

"Great break away"
Excellent location and accommodation. We enjoyed the luxury of the hotel and the fact that it was right in the heart of Sydney's CBD and all the excellent shops and restaurants.

Phillip on front desk was amazing. I let the Star know it was my partner's birthday and they did everything possible to make it special. We had a wonderful stay!

"Perfect budget accommodation"
I was upgraded from a Queen room to a King as I was staying for 2 nights and able to walk up to the third floor. I was in the farthest corner from the main stairwell. It was quiet and peaceful and I was pleasantly surprised to find I had a kettle and tiny fridge. I barely noticed the view of the KFC carpark as I was out and about most of the time. I loved having my own room with simple amenities for such a low cost.

"Central to everything"
We stayed in a one bedroom apartment. It was super comfortable - beds, lounge etc. We loved that we could open the windows. Whilst we could hear sirens at times, local traffic noise was minimal. Woolworths was located two blocks up the hill so very convenient for gathering supplies, but we were also surrounded by small food outlets/ restaurants so it was very easy to grab a meal if we didn't want to cook. Also close to shopping, Darling Harbour, Town Hall and cinema. Great spot. We booked on 'last minute' and got a fantastic deal.

"Nice | Clean | Easy"
Walked in, checked in less than 2 minutes, that is the way you want a hotel stay to be when you are tired and just need that bed to rest in, love that type of service and look forward to it again :) The rooms was nice and clean, bed was comfortable and most importantly the TV worked (Sadly no Discovery like other places I stay at).

Clean, comfortable, great kitchen and plenty of room. Shame the staff took three calls to attend to a problem with the heating otherwise the stay would have been perfect.

    Pocket Guide: Sydney

Sydney glitters as bright as some of the most glamorous and cosmopolitan cities in the world with an Aussie touch, of course. With totally fab shopping and fine dining, interesting streetscapes, and cultural events that keep people coming back for more, it’s also home to gorgeous beaches, an eclectic nightlife and super famous Australian icons.

If you’re keen for a bustling city that’s also beautiful, you will fall head over heels for Sydney. Lock it in now with our fab Sydney hotels! If you’re picturing a Sydney shopping trip, then book into one of our Sydney CBD Hotels.

There are fashion stores and boutiques dotted all over the city centre, and you’ll love the drop-dead gorgeous shop-lined interior of the late-19th century Queen Victoria Building. The CBD also has stacks of restaurants and the rest of the city sights are right on your doorstep!

Just next door, in Surry Hills, you’ll find more shopping – lots of boutiques, vintage and antique shops. It’s also a nightlife and dining hotspot. If markets are your kind of thing, you’ll find lots of them around Sydney, but the markets at The Rocks are an absolute must. Set along historic cobblestone streets, its unique charm is just up the road from all the skyscrapers and right next to Circular Quay, the transport hub of the city.

If you plan on being out until the sun comes up while you’re in town, then you might prefer to book a hotel in Kings Cross. The nightlife really goes off here and it just might be the most hectic part of town in the dark hours of the weekend.

Woolloomooloo, just next door, also has some lovely and stylish bars by the water, as well as some great arts attractions, but is much more refined.

Likewise, Paddington is a great spot for art, wine and food, and intriguing fashion boutiques.

On the north side of Sydney Harbour you might like our Sydney North Shore hotels. It’s a great spot to escape the central city vibes and get some peace and quiet, but without actually being far from the city at all. It’s just on the other side of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, which also means you get great harbour views and riverside strolls. Otherwise, for something a little different and further out, you could always try Bankstown, Liverpool or Parramatta, or go all the way out to the base of the Blue Mountains in Penrith.

But of course, a trip to Sydney isn’t complete without a trip to Bondi Beach! The shimmering white sands and clear blue waters are ridiculously popular with both tourists and locals. It’s a pretty amazing sight – and just 30 minutes from the CBD. Be sure to walk the seaside track from Bondi to Coogee for amazing views. Coogee Beach is fab too – but is slightly lower key than Bondi. On the north side of Sydney, Manly is also a super popular beach spot, lined by palms. With a lovely chilled vibe, you’ll also find plenty of seaside dining and drinking spots to kick back in after those long strolls on the beach.

From Darling Harbour to Chatswood and Sydney Airport accommodation, we have hotels all over the city! Whether you want to sleep surrounded by history, nature, shops, iconic sights or food (mmmmm!), we’ve got your back.

So get your travel buddies together and hold a vote, then get booking it with our great range of Sydney accommodation below. We also have plenty of cheap flights to Sydney to get you there!
