We have made the decision to close the Lastminute.com.au website and app. On 2nd June 2026 the Lastminute.com.au website and app will no longer be available to make new bookings but rest assured that this will not affect any existing bookings you have made through Lastminute.com.au.  

 

What to expect: 

  • Beginning 2nd June 2026 all new booking activity will be directed to Expedia, part of our family of brands along with Lastminute.com.au. Expedia is where you can find and book your ideal holiday with the same ease and options you are used to with Lastminute.com.au. 
  • Until 15th May 2026 you can continue to book hotels, flights, car hire, packages and activities via the site and the app for travel within the next 9 months. After 15th May 2026 bookings can only be made for travel that will be completed by 1st November 2026.This change affects all travel options, including hotels, flights, car hire, packages, and activities. 
  • You will still be able to modify or cancel your reservations.  For further information see FAQ section below. 
  • Once all trips have been completed and serviced, we will shut down access to your Lastminute.com.au account (if you have one) and you will no longer be able to access your booking history or the Lastminute.com.au website and app.

What will happen to my current booking?

You will still be able to modify or cancel your reservations and access your Lastminute.com.au account and Trips page after 2nd June 2026. To cancel an upcoming reservation, visit the self-service option through your Trips page or speak with our virtual assistant. To modify an upcoming reservation, you can reach out to our Customer Service team on support@customerservice.lastminute.com.au. Once all trips have been completed and serviced, we will shut down access to your Lastminute.com.au account and you will no longer be able to access your booking history or the Lastminute.com.au website and app.
