Really unique place to stay! We enjoyed it!

I spent 4 days on this beautiful property!The directions to the house were simple. Due to no scheduling conflict, the owner graciously allowed me to check in early. My Boxer and I walked in to a spotless, open concept house with immediate views of the lake through the glass sliding doors (4 of them). I put my bags down and went outside to the deck. Quiet. Private. Lovely.The owner has left no stone unturned. Forgot soap, a blowdryer, or towel? All supplied. Need to bake, saute, boil or grill? Pots, pans, utensils, charcoal, every dish, mug, and plate needed is there. K cups - decaf and regular, expresso machine, regular coffee pot, and tea pot (with tea bags, creamer, and sugar). Bar equipment. Also, the house smelled amazing, just a soft aroma, not overwhelming. I spent most of my time outside with my dog and listening to the birds and water. The tv in the living room (firestick remote) allowed continuous background music all day and night. There are also tons of dvds of every type of movie you want to see and a variety of books. Worried about the kids being bored? No need. There are many board games, puzzles, a foosball table, and a yard allowing running around. I can see the dock being great to fish or launch the kayak or canoe. I watched the sunrise off of it -wonderful. Bedrooms- beautiful. I slept downstairs- super comfy. Dog area with beds, treats, leashes, etc.Seperate laundry room.Bring yourself, bring your dog(s), bring your family. This place is magical.

"Breakfast" consists of coffee, snack bars, and toast.

Very clean. But tv channels were poor

Kevin and Christina were in touch with us if needed but everything was explained very well in the messages they sent us. Everything was as expected and we were welcomed with a personal touch as well as a local sweet treat! It's a nice rustic cozy log cabin with plenty of room for the 4 of us. It had a new washer and dryer, dish washer, plenty of room in the bedrooms, and the loft area was nice. Very peaceful relaxing area not far from local stores. Some beautiful views of Mt Katadin just a short distance from the cabin. Woke up to the beautiful Maine sunrise after a good nights sleep while watching a couple young deer feeding in the woods off the deck. Plenty of parking for trucks and sled trailer. There is a snowmobile trail that is close to the cabin so you can ride without trailering if you prefer.

We spent the first two weeks of October at this beautiful lodge, surrounded by magnificent lake scenery and vibrant foliage at its peak. The tranquility of the place was perfect for relaxation, with the occasional distant call of a loon adding to the serene atmosphere. At dusk, a family of river otters would often swim by the dock, and the fishing was fantastic—we caught plenty of pickerels, bass, and yellow perch. Even on rainy days, the spacious lodge provided ample room for indoor games and relaxation. Despite one frosty night, the available space heaters kept us warm and comfortable. The hosts were wonderful and quick to respond to any needs.
