Book Woumen hotels

The hotel was clean and easy to find as there are signposts for all the hotels. It is very close to all the tourist attractions too. The breakfast is very expensive for what it is and we would not normally of had it , but there was not much open for that sort of thing in the square. The receptionist was not over friendly and it seemed like it was a chore for her to help us , especially when I asked her to order us a taxi on one of the days.

The lighting was apalling! Mirrors in dark corners or bad light. Had to use a torch in the restaurant to be able to read tge menu. Everything black or dark grey which gave a very uncomfortable atmosphere. Most importantly wee were not told about tge major traffic diversion!!! It took us 2 1/2 hours from Bruges to find tge hotel!!! I used to be a regular client but this experience was apalling for such an expensive and well known chain! Also not enough tea bags or milk in the room for 2 days for 2 people. Very dissatisfied!!

Hotel could do with a revamp. No one on reception when I arrived at 9.30. Waited for 10 minutes. Kitchen closed. No food options. Charged additional €12 to park. Just include in the price.

Listing for this booking hides that towels and parking are not available without additional costs, and that beds need to be made by guests and rubbish taken out by guests. Bringing towels with us from abroad and taking them back as wet towels wasn’t something I was expecting when I made the booking. All of this is mentioned on the follow up communication

Everything was alright except that they make you pay for parking. It's a hotel next to motorway not in a city centre and it is a whopping 10 euros. Keep that in mind when looking for a cheap place.
