Book Witch Lake hotels

This was a cozy little place to stay in the UP. It was exactly as described nestled on the hillside of Champion. A very welcoming site after 14 hours of driving. The house was neat, very clean, and stocked with everything you would need for your stay. All you needed was your clothing and food for your stay. It was so nice to have a "home" to lay your head down after a busy day instead of a tiny and stuffy motel. Our hostess, Katie, was an absolute angel! We are an older couple, first time of booking something other than a hotel or motel, and the map we used kept turning us in the wrong directions. She was so patient and understanding of the situation. I give her 101 stars for that alone. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in the UP definitely check this property out. It's only 15 minutes from Ishpeming and 30 minutes from Marquette. Plenty of places to site see, activities to do, convenient shopping, and wonderful views.

Nice and clean, comfortable

Beautiful location. This house is well stocked with amenities to cook and walk right in just like you live there. Sheets , Towels and blankets plenty for all. As a vrbo owner myself i was extremely impressed with this property.

Stayed for 5 days eveything was great . I may add also warm . With negative temps at night . Came from Indiana to snowmobile ,trails were great .The home had a perfect set up for snowmobiling a walk out door to an from the basement get off your sled walk into the basement an take off your gear leave the snow behind in. The basement no wet feet .I would re comend the snowmobile enthusiast to get on board . Michigama market 3.5 miles down the road gas for the sleds an the trail head starts where u got gas. Good fast communication with.owner. would do it again.

Just bring some food and friends and enjoy a scenic drive to the lodge. Once you arrive everything you need is there ready for you to enjoy the private lake in the scenic northern Michigan forest with your friends. Note: If you go in the Winter, you may want 4-wheel drive. Some the hills can be hard to get up if its snowy.

We had a group of 7 retirees staying at the Wolf Lake Lodge for a weekend of snowmobiling. The log home is beautiful and was furnished with everything we needed. Sleeping arrangements were a bit cramped since we had 3 singles in our group, this was not a surprise. Hanging all of our gear was also challenging, there is a lack of hooks and areas suitable for a group our size. The snowmobile trail access was about 7 miles by plowed rode. It’s a beautiful ride, but would be a problem with a warm-up. It snowed nearly the entire time we were there, and the trails were fantastic. Parking is difficult with a larger trailer. We easily parked 2 small trailers by the home. We managed to park 1 large trailer just outside the gate. We would definitely come back, but with a smaller group next time.
