Everyone was welcoming and friendly, with very well trained staff throughout. For a one night stay with smallish children it was perfect, both room and menu, and even down to the little booklet to keep young ones occupied. Oh, and great beer too. Oh, and an EV charging point. Overall a very well designed offer, well delivered. Excellent.

Very comfortable room, friendly staff with very good service and good variety of meals with a specials board and carvery. Meals were reasonable and dinner times were busy and you need to reserve a table. Highly recommend it.

Everything was brilliant. We stayed in a family Somerset suite and it has a bright green exit light near door and it kept me up all night as the bed is next to it. Apart from this, everything was great.

The accommodation is very basic. Check in was very matter of fact & we were not offered any assistance. The rooms are old and musty and in average or below average state of repair. On the plus side the room was large and the shower was very good.

Lovely pub, perfectly situated to visit Longleat

We had a lovely 2 night stay while visiting Longleat wildlife park. We were a family of 3 and the room was very spacious, a little tired but very functional. The bathroom was lovely and the shower had great pressure. The breakfast was great as were the evening meals and staff. There was also a big outside space with a lovely big play area for the kids.
