Room was nice, slightly dated furniture but great views and bed comfy. Bathroom old and there was a strong smell of drains on the first day which disappeared afterwards. Breakfast was ok, limited options. Service was slow and not what I would call Irish hospitality. It took 15 minutes to get a cup of tea. I ordered a cappuccino and it never arrived. Staff seemed like they didn’t want to be there. Reception staff were all lovely. We had a meal in the bar and that was lovely too although my husband had the steak sandwich and it had a weird curry sauce. I would say breakfast let it down. We had breakfast on the first day and missed the two other days as it wasn’t a great experience.

Myself and my wife stayed for leisure at the end of a very busy work week. Fantastic hotel right in the centre of Westport. Clean and comfortable rooms, great food and fantastic customer service. Big shout out to Barney on reception, Ken the breakfast manager and Leah, our server for breakfast who is a credit to the hotel with great efficient service and a lovely smiling face at all times. Would highly recommend.
