This is such a beautiful property. It was so well kept, the staff was so nice & welcoming. Rooms were clean and had spectacular views. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. There is also a boat rental place next door which we took advantage of and loved it

Area around the property was safe and there are several walkable restaurants. Bus stops nearby. About an hour to get into a larger city with train stations-it’s a pretty remote area. Would be great for older couples. The town shuts down early on Saturdays and pretty much closed on Sundays. The restaurant was great. The inside of the hotel room is very old and dated. No AC and it was very hot at night. A fan in the room would do wonders in terms of comfort.

Think of this property more like a villa. The main facilities (dining room and pool) are a short walk away. The room was clean and the view gorgeous. The dining room/buffet was delicious and the pool view outstanding. Would absolutely return. Michelle

Loved staying here in Weggis. Amazing room with a view, fantastic pool, a few minutes walk away from the ferry dock. Very helpful front desk staff.

Excellent evening male receptionist who was helpful with check in. Beautiful area and calm surrounding. There is room for improvement in terms of Wi-Fi connectivity and availability of microwave in the lobby of Garni hotel.

I have mention before that we are vegetarian so that they can provide something for breakfast .. but they did not provide anything g and wen I requested for bread to one of lady staff .. she was really rude .. very disappointing

Great location

We had a great stay at this hotel, the location is right on the lake and you have a great view from the room. The hotel is like an extension of the Central Hotel which is right next to it and that is where you have breakfast and you can use the outdoor pool. The cleaning is superficial but we could not complain as we had a 3 days stay only. If you want to have a great view of the lake and are happy to self manage, this hotel is perfect. We loved it very much and consider it was great value.

Well to begin with location is amazing & the view from room was spectacular !! Room was not that spacious & WiFi was poor. Hotel reception staff was extremely helpful , no air conditioning very hot during day time requested fan ! Out of five stars I rate 3 stars Bathroom is very tiny !!!

Parking was difficult to find in the lot next to the hotel. Eventually moved to another parking area that was a 5-minute uphill walk away. WiFi wasn’t easy to obtain. We were given the code for the wrong hotel; tried to call reception to get the correct code, but the phone wasn’t set up to call out. So I made another trip to the Hotel Central to get the corrrect code. That code worked on one of two networks with the same (identical) name. Eventually we got one device to work, but the other device never would connect. Shower was very slow to drain. This Junior Suite was our most expensive room on our month long European vacation; it was not a good value.

Beautiful lake views to enjoy from the private bac

For Switzerland, this was an inexpensive hotel. There is no staff on site (one must go to the next hotel to check in). But the view is magnificnt and every room faces the lake. For the price, the view was a steal. Other, more expensive hotels, have village views, and mountain views, but the lake view rooms are a premium. This was not. The small baclony with a little table and two chairs was nice to sit out on. Down side is there is no coffee/tea facilities in the room. But if you want to simply relax, the check in early and stay until the end. A very hearty breakfast was served in the next hotel and included in the tariff. The check in was easy and the staff was helpful. Highly recommended!!!

Stunning views of the lake!

We stayed in August and enjoyed spectacular views across the lake from our room and balcony. Room was spacious and hotel is conveniently located for boat service, the cable car and restaurants. A little expensive, as with everything Swiss, but worth it for the views. Breakfast was ok, and we choose to eat out so can't comment on hotel restaurant. Overall, a very enjoyable few days in Weggis, which we loved, quieter than Lucerne, but full of charm.
