Lakeside is a wonderful place to stay. The cabins are spacious, clean, modern, and give you everything you need. Being pet friendly is a huge plus. Well definitely stay again.

Need to designated parking spaces

Stay was great in regards to property and food! Someone parked behind us and blocked us in, so maybe the property needs to do something about designated parking spaces. We got up to leave at sunrise and had to wait until the office opened around 8, however the women with the small dog walked by and when I asked if it was her car, and she said yes, I asked her to move and her reply was “Now”. I was like yes we’ve been blocked in and need to leave! It took her 20 more minutes but I didn’t have to wait until the office opened thankfully. It wasn’t the property’s fault but maybe designated spaces will help for other guests that don’t know to not block parked cars in!

Lakeside Resort was a Winner!

Was our first time in Watkins Glen and Lakeside Resort and we loved it so much we’ve already booked another adventure for the fall! Everything about Lakeside was easy—check-in, parking, unpacking, having our dog with us, the on-site restaurant (delicious food!!!), and the well appointed chalet. Oh, and every person we encountered there was friendly and helpful. The view from our chalet was like a postcard, too.

Clean, comfortable and convenient

Great experience. We rented a cabin for 2 couples and it was perfect. Nice clean and simple space, spacious for us to relax and play games. Breakfast was convenient and reasonably priced. We're hoping to come back during warmer weather to enjoy the patio, Lakeview and walking trails.

Best place around

This is my favorite place to stay on Seneca lake and always my first choice. The only drawback is they sell out most weekends which is a testament to how nice this place is.

We made the last minute decision to spend the day in Watkins Glen and booked a chalet at Lakeside Resort. The cabin was extremely clean and comfortable. Check in was extremely easy. Will definitely look to stay here again on our next visit!

We stayed at one of the Chalets and it was a great experience. The unit was private and the whole resort is very dog friendly. Would definitely stay here again for another trip to Watkins Glen.

We stay every year!

We have stayed here multiple times - always in the winter and it’s always worth the visit. We travel with our dog sometimes and this is a perfect spot. Beautiful setting and great location convenient to Watkins Glen and wineries.
