It’s an old hotel and with that, everything is dated. Probably no updates since the 1990’s. That’s fine but just FYI. And the service was non-existent. There was also something “misplaced” in my room. A watch.

Charming and comfortable

First off, customer service was on point!!! Front desk and doorman personnel was amazing! Second, my room was comfortable, elegant and charming in its historic setting. They are near GW university and cute brunch places. My only concern was the channels could be a little bit sharper in quality but the channels had excellent variety. Please keep this hotel in mind as a good, quiet place to stay. :)

Loved this hotel. It was very clean and within walking distance of many tourist spots. It was within 10 minutes walking distance from The White House, there’s also plenty of restaurants/bars within walking distance.

The staff was present, very kind, and helpful. Housekeeping did an outstanding job with the room each day, as did the two people I interacted with at the front desk during check-in and check-out. The staff members who were helping people with bags were friendly, and I enjoyed our conversations. Thank you!

The Hotel was disappointing. The building itself is quite old, and it feels it. The air conditioning was pretty anemic, and for the last two days, would not go below about 75 or 76 degrees, which isn't ideal after being out in the heat all day. The staff was friendly, but not very effective. We nearly missed our flight because the car valet forgot to bring our car around in the AM, and there was only one person working and a number of people leaving at once. I ended up going with the valet to retrieve the car myself. The location was great, but it was a pretty disappointing experience outside of that.

Updated classic hotel

This is a unique, old style hotel which was pretty cool. The staff was friendly. We just slept there so we didn’t use any amenities. Only complaint was the narrow shower with a shower curtain that kept billowing inward. Perfect location for our trip to GW.

Second visit to Hotel Lombardy. I appreciate what a good value it is and its location is convenient. The steps up to the front desk is a challenge with heavy luggage.
