Loved the hotel. People need to be aware that the elevators are small in case they might be claustrophobic. one elevator holds 6-8 people and the other elevator will hold 4 but not comfortably. I'm not claustrophobic but felt like I was in a small box.

The Hotel Lombardy is an excellent property to stay. Everyone we encountered while staying at the property was wonderful from the bell hop, front desk and cleaning staff. The parking is valet only, but the price is comparable to the rest of the city. The location is only about a mile from the national mall and makes for a nice walk when the weather permits. We would absolutely stay here again.

Hotel is a combination of a trip into another era and a bit outdated. It is a good value in a very expensive DC hotel environment. You will not find luxuries or special services. But if it is a good night sleep that you are looking for, this is your option.
