Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities
I'm sharing this in the hope it might help others avoid a similar experience. Time constraints of family commitments are the only reason we didn’t leave immediately.
- **Smoking Policy:** Despite all rooms being designated as non-smoking, the policy seems either not enforced or previous smoking rooms were not correctly converted because they stunk of it.
- **Air Conditioning:** The AC unit was malfunctioning, cycling on and off, indicating it needed service. The pre-filter was extremely dirty.
- **Television:** Cable TV was out of service.
- **Bathroom:** The bathroom fan was broken and covered in dust.
- **Bed Comfort:** The mattress was overly firm with noticeable coil impressions; the pillows were lumpy and worn.
- **Window Treatments:** The curtains were broken, not fully covering the window, allowing light from the building sign’s spotlight to enter at night.
- **Elevator & Stairs:** The elevator seemed on the brink of failure, and the stairs had dried vomit on the walls, a quick distraction from the layer of filth.
- **Staff Interaction:** The staff were unhelpful and indifferent during our limited interactions.
This experience was particularly disappointing for a Comfort Inn, where I expected at least a baseline standard of quality. Instead, it felt more like a one-star motel.
- **Location:** The surrounding area has decent dining options. If you're looking for proximity to the airport, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.
