Mother Nature's handiwork is on show in many places around Villanua. Just 35 kilometres away, Pyrenees National Park is a terrific place to start. Ordesa Y Monte Perdido National Park sits 35 kilometres away and is another ideal spot for some peace and quiet.

There's nothing better than getting up at the crack of dawn and being first on the chairlift at Gourette Ski Resort. After mastering all the runs there, pack up your skis and continue onwards to Candanchu Ski Resort.

Seeking more things to see and do? Go to Castiello de Jaca, 6 kilometres southwest of Villanua, for the Ciudadela and Jaca Cathedral. Alternatively, Canfranc is 9 kilometres to the north, and it's here you'll come across Astun Ski Resort and Lacs d'Ayous.

Sallent de Gallego, 17 kilometres to the northeast, may be worth a day trip. You can use it as a port of call when stopping by Formigal Ski Resort, Tena Park and Cinta Sextas. If you'd like more persuading, other close by attractions include Boutique Nepal and Collado.
