The property itself was fine. The staff, however, was very rude. This was the most unpleasant chec-in experience I've ever had anywhere. My 15yo son and I arrived around 10 pm (we traveled all day). The fellow at the check-in (his name was Dmitrijs I believe), was annoyed the moment I walked in. He said the the regular check in was between 4 and 6pm and that they repeatedly contacted contacted me that day about my whereabouts. I had no idea about the preferred check in time, and never received any calls/emails/sms from them. Still, he showed us to our room. I anticipated friends that evening so I had booked a large suite with 2 large beds (sleeping 4 as per the website) paying extra of course. In the room, I discovered only set of bedding for 2 people, so I asked the guy for two more pillows and a blanket as I was expecting guests. He said No, that's not allowed. I asked why as I booked large suite so that I could have two more people as guests. Then he went on saying how he didn't like my attitude, how I had their best room, how they're very smooth in Austria and I was not (I guess being extremely rude to a paying customer was smooth in his mind) and threatened to refund me the money and kick us out (that's after 10pm in a new town with my 15 yo son). So I didn't get the pillows. Next morning, I talked to a young lady at front desk who charged me 60 euros for an extra set of bedding. Hotel check-in should be simple and uneventful. Otherwise, suite was nice and clean.
