A long day of exploring can really zap your energy. Catch up on some shut-eye at Belle-Isle sur Risle and Hôtel Le Flormandie, some of the most central hotels in this area.

Further accommodation spots include the Le Petit Coq Aux Champs, which is 12 kilometres from the centre, and the Domaine Le Clos des Fontaines, which is 15 kilometres away. Alternatively, venture 12 kilometres from central Vieux-Port to the De la Marine.

Not the most attractive hotel from the outside but everything inside was excellent. Very friendly helpful staff. Spotless rooms and plentiful buffet breakfast. The pool and sauna were again spotless, well maintained and warm. Decor inside was 'different' most amusing to see various animals holding all the light fittings..!
