Truly loved this hotel! Service was excellent at all times of day! Arranged for our transfer from SL Train station by water taxi - that was not cheap - it is a 20 min walk with lots of bridges so pack light if walking! Beautiful inside, entrance faces Grand Canal! EASY location to walk all over, about 10-15 min from the main areas. Breakfast was fantastic with special coffees - they even sent a bag of packaged breakfast foods and water bottles since we had to check out before breakfast. LOVED this hotel and would definitely stay again!!!!

Pre-Cruise stay in Venice

This was a 3-night pre-cruise stay. The hotel has a great location, but is difficult to find. There is a grocery shop nearby for extra snacks and water. The hotels breakfast is excellent with a wide variety. The hotel staff was excellent arranging tours and transportation.

I would definitely recommend this hotel — it was spotless, with no unpleasant smells at all. The staff were incredibly friendly, check-in was quick and easy, and the location is excellent — close to most of the key places you’ll want to visit. It also felt very safe, which we really appreciated. Thank you for the complimentary upgrade; it truly made our stay in Venice even more special. The breakfast was great too. A wonderful experience all around!

Our stay went wonderful, staff is very nice helpful. Location is so convenient to transport, restaurants, a grocery store, 20 min away walk to shopping centre, Rialto bridge. Walkable distance to take direct water taxi to airport. Very neat hotel, the breakfast is amazing, I would highly recommend not to miss breakfast inclusive in your booking.

Rooms were unique in that they have four steps down from entrance into bedroom. Spacious and very clean. Breakfast option was very nice. Would have liked to of had the restaurant opened for dinner as well. Location right on waterfront so very convenient for transfers and lovely waterfront restaurants. Convenient location to walk to many attractions. Front desk very helpful for tours, reservations and transfers.

Perfect visit to Venice I hesitated to write the review because I want to come back and find the hotel available and the board walk as spacious. However, I can’t keep a gem to myself. End of May early June 25 th anniversary. Brought our two kids along. 19/16 girl boy - adult size. Book and communicated seamlessly with hotel months before. Train to Venice and from the station a porter (20 euro) took out bags and walked us 5 m to water taxi (90 euro) to our hotel for our stay in Venice. The hotel Palazzo Venezanio is situated on a very wide and less crowded and beautiful boardwalk. This boardwalk is the home of private docks for yachts 3-14 dys including Tatasu estimated at 15-50 million (no one knows bc no one has seen inside). From the hotel you walk 15-30 m to the main canals, tourist shops, high end shops passing 5 beautiful churches. The hotel gives perfect directions. The hotel has black and gold interior. The lobby is comfortable like a library with a small bar and designer fragrances to sample. The staff speak exceptional English and are extremely helpful and give the stay high end attention. Our two rooms include a beautiful room with two twins and high end shower with Vegas style LED lights. The suite we had was a large comfortable bed with a sunken level with high end jacuzzi. Each morning we ate breakfast down stairs included. Rivera Venezia and grocer 100 feet away.

The front desk was super friendly, helpful, and made check-in a breeze. Always smiling and ready to assist with anything. The bartenders were just as great—fun, talented, and knew how to mix a perfect drink. Every night at the bar felt special thanks to their energy and skill. Overall our experience was very disappointing. The room was expensive but the breakfast was an additional charge. We splurged on one of the rooms with a bathtub on the patio however the water got lukewarm at best…. Not ver relaxing g or romantic. This was at one in the morning so I wasn’t going to call someone to come check on it then. At checkout I mentioned it and the desk attendant seemed less than concerned and offered no accommodations to make up for the inconvenience. Additionally the air conditioning did not work in the room and it was really hot at night. We opened the windows to get some air but were then eaten alive by mosques. Furthermore, at check in we were given a bottle of champagne which was “included” with our reservation but I was charged $50 for the bottle afterwards. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and would not book again in the future.
