The place was dirty. The hot water in the shower didn't work all the time. It was a little hot, a little cold like that all the time. The place is very old, very stuffy, very dark.

Traveler beware. My wife and I stayed here and experienced bed bug bites. Horrible experience and when reported to the front desk was told ‘nothing they can do’.

Wonderful Hotel

The hotel met our expectations and more. The staff are upbeat and nothing is to much trouble. The breakfast included, was filling and something for everyone, we really enjoyed it. We loved the dramatic baroque decor, the massive bed was so comfortable! A special shout out to Caterina, Costa and Alice, thank you ❤️ 💙 😊 We fell in love with Venice and and will definitely be coming back and to Hotel Al Duca, we not consider anywhere else.

Loved this hotel but at midnight it was very hard to find. Another couple was also lost but reception was so nice and they had such a nice breakfast. We enjoyed it here and would come back if i could find it.

Great apartment in Venice

Nice apartment owned by the hotel. Clean and well equipped. In more residential area so quiet at night but easy walking distance to sights and vaporetto. Nice restaurants, a grocery store and a bakery round the corner. Double bed and a sofa bed for the kids. Would stay again with family.

Luxury, without the price tag!

The hotel was in a perfect location for a stay in Venice. The rooms exceeded our expectations. A touch of luxury not often seen at a reasonable price. The staff were friendly, helpful & efficient. Breakfast was enough to see us through. It will be my first choice for my next stay in Venice.

Our stay there made it feel like we were locals. Perfect apartment for a couple. Beautifully appointed. Co-Op, Farmacia, produce stand, Anatema boutique, espresso, gelato, restaurants, and pastries within a small radius. We didn’t have to venture far, everything was right there. We just hung out, ate, relaxed, and people-watched. One of the best places in a 3 week trip. Highly recommended the annex apartment.

The room was Italian awesome! Looked like Versace could have slept there! It had a very comfortable bed with golden headboard and was very clean. I think the ceilings might have be 16' high and the walls were covered in red damask fabric. With it's 12" thick walls, I don't think it could be anything but quiet. Loved everything about it.

Great location. The hotel room was dark and Venetian style. My daughter loved it, felt a little outdated. Mattresses and pillows need to be replaced. Breakfast bar was excellent and the service was exceptional.

Accessible yet quiet location

Great location, quiet street. Hotel was centrally located and staff was very friendly. Only issue was with check out. If you require an early morning check out, be sure to let them know ahead of time. The gentleman on duty was down right rude to us and shared his displeasure of not being notified ahead of time of our 8am departure. Despite that encounter, I would recommend.
