This is not a five star property, however, it was very clean and staff was kind and helpful. The hotel is situated such that it’s easy to get to all surrounding areas for visiting different areas of Asheville and Hendersonville.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Fletcher for 4 nights. It has been renovated so it looks nice. We found the bed to be very flat/uncomfortable. They need new thick mattress. The sleeper sofa which we used as extra seating was very hard. The breakfast was good and staff was friendly. The price was right. It was quiet!

Check in was very slow. Then we found out the hotel gave away the rooms I requested earlier. We were assigned 2 other rooms across from each other and when trying to enter one of the rooms we found another guest was already assigned the room. (Both our keys and the other guest keys worked for the same room). Once we had that room we came back from my family’s with the children and found the lights to enter the room were blinking like a strobe light. The floor in the bathroom was warped so you had to push the bathroom door over the hump to get it closed. The beds were very hard. The sheet had a black stain on them, and the trucks beeping to back up in the morning were loud. I will never stay here again when we come back to visit family.
