In the heart of Valenciennes, Royal Hainaut Spa & Resort Hotel is within a 5-minute drive of Musée des Beaux-Arts and Valenciennes Golf.
The hotel & its facilities are very good, but could be excellent. One gets the feeling that only French speaking guests are welcome, most staff don’t have even a basic understanding of English and don’t want to assist. The hotel boasts 51 TV channels, but none cater for international sport.

Fair for the price
Not exactly the Ritz, but then it was pretty cheap. An hour to Lille on the train, so pretty good.
