Book Val-de-Livenne hotels

We had the privilege of getting married at Château Borgeat de Lagrange, and it was absolutely magical. The property is truly enchanting — surrounded by vineyards, history, and charm in every corner.Estelle is an amazing host — warm, attentive, and incredibly detail-oriented. Considering the price, this was a great value option in the Medoc wine region. The hotel is a little dated but clean and well maintained. The reception staff are great. The only thing that could have improved our stay was having more to do around the hotel with young children. With the outdoor pool out of action we were able to use the indoor pool at lunchtime and dinner time each day but otherwise there wasn't much to do. It would be great for example if they could install some petanque courts and provide the equipment. Also more bikes, we were interested in hiring bikes but someone else had hired them.

We were in overnight, arriving late and leaving early morning. The place looked very nice and welcoming - value for money at budget pricing. We got the rest we needed, despite the heat. We’ll try to be back again for a proper vacation.

A little too distant from town to walk but the coffee shop next to Aldi was superb for breakfast as breakfast at the hotel was more expensive than we had expected. Being described as B&B , we had wrongly assumed breakfast was included
