If you have your sights set on Uuri, take note — hotel options in the vicinity are as thin as the hair on your great uncle Percy's head!

However, Prangli Island does have a range of places to spend your nights. It is 35 kilometres from Uuri. Among the best hotels are the Ecoland Boutique Hotel and Europe Hostel.

The Heureka Finnish Science Centre and Flamingo Entertainment Centre are some of the best attractions in Vantaa. Want to head over and suss 'em out? Vantaa places to stay include the GLO Hotel Helsinki Airport and Hilton Helsinki Airport.

Espoo can be found 95 kilometres away from Uuri and has a population of 260,000. When you're in the region, you'd be crazy if you didn't take a trip to Espoo Cathedral, the Gumbole Golf and the Espoo Museum of Modern Art.
