Our room was excellent, beaches only a short walk away. Carpets in common areas are due for a clean, that's my only negative. We had a beautiful relaxing stay.

It is very outdated and in many places requires maintenance The doors into the rooms are very noisy when your next door guests are entering or leaving The tiles in the ground floor are in need of replacing and water has damaged the walls around the louvre windows. The ground floor bar was not open to get a drink

Stayed here more than once great location right on the beach. Has a great walkway from Kingscliff all the way past Casarena Beach can walk for miles. Well lucky enough to be here while whales were passing and got to see them up close and very personal on the beach amazing to pop out and see the majestic animals passing by. Heaps of restaurants around cafes as well hotel is very well situated. All unit are fully self-contained or the studios have a kitchenette. Would recommend staying here. Don’t really need to leave during winter. There is one heated pool but it is a very small pool. I would imagine. The large pool would be very crowded in summer because there are a lot of units for the size of pool.

SALT is good for the system !!!

We love Salt Resort. Come here often for couple get away. All amenities you could want…. Spa bath in apartment. Restaurants and small shopping village in the complex. Hotel also for dining and sports bar with children’s playground so family friendly. Shopping centre close and A short drive to Kingscliff shopping and dining area. Whale watching near by on beaches and lookouts. Great place…. Enjoy

Beautiful gardens and lovely pool. Near beach. Plenty of eating and drinking options. Our apartment was facing south and the aircon/heater warmed the living area but not the bedroom and the one blanket was old and flimsy and the bed throw was also not up to much so I was cold at night. The bikes were in bad repair too rusty to use. The gym was rather basic. No free weights.

Goof for a night or two.

Only stayed one night and for the price it was good, a nice if a little small room. The standard hotel room type I stayed in seemed to be a part of a dual key apartment with a keyed entry into a foyer with a further two keyed doors one leading to my room and the other to what I think is a one bedroom apartment. The room had a big balcony with a table and chairs but inside the roof there was only a stool at the desk and the fridge inside a cabinet made a sound at times that sounded like there were pigeons cooing at times. Plenty of free above ground and secured underground parking. The hotel room is fine for one person for a night or two but the larger apartments are probably better for a couple or a longer stay.
