However, Hwasun is located 30 kilometres away from Turyong. Here you'll come up flush with several places to hit the sack. A few to look into are the Ramada Plaza Gwangju and Kumho Hwasun Resort.

Attractions and Hotels Near Turyong

Sure, you could spend your entire time just in Turyong, but you're gonna come down with a bad case of FOMO. For even more amazing memories, you've gotta look around South Jeolla's other sights. Don't even think of heading home without visiting some of the region's incredible beaches, coastal plains and rivers. Castles and traditional villages are also worth a look around. More active visitors can also have a crack at popular pursuits like mountain climbing.

Gwangju is another place where you can sit back and order up room service like a boss. Sitting 50 kilometres north of Turyong, it's where you'll find the Chosun University Museum of Art and May 18 Democracy Square. If you'd like to visit Gwangju, consider the rates at the Holiday Inn Gwangju and Pedro's House - Hostel. 50 kilometres to the west of Turyong you'll also find Mokpo, which is home to the Sunshine Motel and Fontana Beach Hotel. While in Mokpo, make sure you visit Jeollanamdo Agricultural Museum and Hanyeong Cinema Bowling Center.
