So frustrating that the restaurant wouldn't allow me to take breakfast plates to my room for my wife who has a bad back, and daughter who is just getting up. One staff said not allowed to take food out of the restaurant. Then a staff said I could wrap something in a napkin, but i am not allowed to take plates out of the restaurant. I said I wanted to buy 1 plate, 2 staff quickly said, "oh you can take the paid one to the room." That frustrated me more. A staff said i can give you a bag. i asked do you have a take out box or container they said no. We planned to stay and relax until 1pm check out. Instead we checked out around 10 am hungry and ate elsewhere. What kind of hotel treats guests like this? I am a gold member of expedia, which means i stay in dozens of hotels each year, and this is the 1st time i have ever seen this. Just in Jan. month alone i have stayed multiple nights in Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Orillia, Niagra Falls, Amos, and Gatineau. Even had 2 rooms booked some of those nights. Every hotel let me bring the included breakfast to my room with plates or takeout boxes.. regards to the room, it had a light musky oder when we first entered, but it was hot in the room and the oder went away after we cooled the room. There are large tears in the thin curtains, the black out cutains were ok and the Beds were comfortable, was an ok stay until the breakfast experience ruined it. Also didn't receive room upgrade or complimentary beverages that were included.

This hotel was alright, except my room wasn't ready dispite it being approximately 6:00pm when I checked in. I also found red splatter on the frame of the bedroom door that I had to mention at front desk.

Would recommend, overall nice and clean property. Only thing is the complimentary breakfast doesn't include eggs, pancakes, you gotta pay for this stuff. Would be nice if they provide free eggs, pancakes, etc.
