Can't keep those feet still? If you're furiously nodding in agreement, then take off and explore the wider South Chungcheong region. Nature lovers should plan an outing to some of Tokok's stunning beaches and coastal plains. A few other gotta-see sights to stick on your hit list are old towns. Travellers with an appetite for adventure can also fill their days with a little mountain climbing and hiking in this corner of South Korea.

Everyone knows Aussies just love to relax, so consider hanging round a little longer and checking out the Onyang Folk Museum and Maeng Sa-seong House in Asan, 35 kilometres to the east of Tokok. If you want to spend a few nights in Asan, consider the Onyang Grand Hotel and Hoseo Hotel. Or, you could consider staying in Cheongju, 80 kilometres to the east of Tokok, where you'll find the Grand Plaza Cheongju and Unique Hotel NAMOO. Cheonan is home to around 370,000 people. It can be found 50 kilometres east of Tokok. A few local attractions that are well worth your time are the Independence Hall of Korea, Hyundai Bowling Center and the Gakwonsa Temple. You'll find a range of hotel options in Cheonan.
