The room was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and professional. The night clerk, Audrey was a joy to have there. She made my stay so much better. Air conditioner was very old and didn’t produce much cold air. Room seemed like it was partially updated. Furniture is older and could use new. Was over all clean. We didnt use the pool but it looked nice and clean. Over all nice property could just use a Dave lift. Would definitely stay again though.

The old Forge area is undoubtedly beautiful! You could enhance your stay with some simple amenities. For instance, consider getting a new coffee maker that only requires a bag of coffee. You could also add an umbrella outside for guests to sit under during rain showers. Alternatively, you could set up a simple fire pit area for your guests. Other hotels in the area offer similar amenities. Overall, the price is great if you’re looking for a cost-effective stay. Everything is appropriate for the price charge.

Room was very large, and had a small balcony. Unable to use balcony due to weather but would have enjoyed it had it not been stormy. Room decor was nice but the wallpaper/paint could use a refresh. Bed was surprisingly comfortable considering how squeaky it was.
