It sits 930 kilometres southwest of Washington, the capital city of United States of America.

You won't need to be stuck on the highway all day to see some nature. Just 40 kilometres out of The Rock, Indian Springs State Park is a great place to get a breath of fresh air. More scenic surrounds await at High Falls State Park, 30 kilometres away.

Gachet Home and the Gordon State College are near the centre of Barnesville, 14 kilometres to the northeast of The Rock. Why not make your way there and have a look?
