The host, house and location were great. All activities in the area were about twenty to thirty miles which is not bad, when you consider we were vacationing there for sightseeing. When you stay at Highland Lodge in Greensboro, you'll be on a lake, within a 10-minute walk of Caspian Lake and Barr Hill Natural Area.
One of the best places i have ever stayed!!! Staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and treated us like family. Breakfast gave us many selections and was very good. Had a good selection for dinner and the food was very good. I would definitely stay here again.
