Even though there aren't any hotels in Tha Kat's centre, there are 6 digs within 30 kilometres where you can have a snooze (and maybe hit the mini bar).

After waking up in your cosy bed at Kaomai Lanna Resort and Chiangmai Inthanon Golf and Natural Resort, it won't take long to reach Tha Kat (as long as you don't hit that snooze button too many times!)

One more option is the Baannamping Riverside Village, which is a great choice if you're happy travelling 30 kilometres to the centre.

An alternative place to kick up your feet is Chiang Mai Province, which is 45 kilometres to the north of the middle of Tha Kat. Here is where you'll find the Baan Jang Nak Musuem and Wat Si Bua Ngern. Chiang Mai Province accommodations include The Dhara Dhevi Chiang Mai and 137 Pillars House.

After sleeping upright all night, a nice comfy bed at the Rachamankha will feel like a dream! If that doesn't quite cut it, check out the Singha Montra Lanna Boutique Style Hotel. Both are within easy reach of Chiang Mai International Airport, which is 40 kilometres from the centre of town.
