Located in Kannur, State Beach Resort & Spa is within a 5-minute drive of Payyambalam Beach and Kanoor Fort.
Little gem of a hotel right on the cliff top. Staff were nice and rooms clean. A lot of renovation work is just being finished which will add some lovely rooms. It is off the beaten track but does give rest bite from the city at the end of the day.

Needs to improve
Needs to sort itself out. Junior staff are great the main man on reception was surly and not helpful. For its star rating it needs to do more.
