Awesome!!

Casa Gratitud was everything we hoped it would be. We enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous home overlooking the bay. The home was clean and well appointed with most everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing weeklong stay. Do be warned that there are 200 stairs from the trail to the house. We enjoyed the daily workout and the view is worth it!Make sure that the water taxi drops you off at the correct pier when you arrive as there are two in the town. We didn’t know and arrived to the wrong one. Yelapa is a charming town that is a welcomed break from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Everyone was so friendly and the fresh shrimp ceviche, guacamole, and groceries awaiting us at the house were a huge hit! Thank you Yanet!

El Cielito was literally a breath of fresh air from the crowded “tourism scene” in the area. If you are looking for a relaxing, beautiful and affordable location for your next vacation, this is exactly what you are looking for. Staff were all amazing and the accommodations were superb. We will definitely return…often!!

Tamara’s place is well outfitted with everything that you need to make your own meals. Hot water for showers, gas stove and the fridge worked great. We really enjoyed our 12 days here catching fish, relaxing on the beaches and just being unplugged. Moderately difficult 45minute hike to Chimo a small fishing community that has a small grocery store and two restaurants. We had lunch at Arturo’s and it was really tasty! We will come back again maybe next year to this paradise. Tamara is an awesome host and answered our questions quickly. Josefat and his family were so friendly and helpful.
