Well situated and well managed property. Easy checkin.

Hotel was clean and quiet. Area around pool needs some help.

Nice and clean. Updated and the bed was extremely comfortable. Only bad thing was the remote didn’t work for the DIRECTV and no available staff to assist. I would definitely stay again.

The Caboose is the very definition of “repurposed” when it comes to Art, History and modern day comforts of home all in one unique package. The hosts Dan & Janine really went all-out to refurbish the Caboose into a very comfortable and modern living space, but kept all the authentic features of a genuine train caboose! This is the place for both nature lovers and those who appreciate the trains and trucks on the highway that deliver America's economy. Safe, private, comfortable and very relaxing, this Caboose is unique on VRBO. We film nightscapes, and despite the light-pollution of LA nearby, the dark skies of Tehachapi were beautiful. We have a video that "You" can see on the "Tube" called Tehachapi Caboose if you want to see more of this beautiful rental. We loved the place and the hosts. This is really the ideal retreat for a couple who wants to get away from town. Thanks again Dan & Janine for your hospitality and great efforts making this rental so pleasurable!

From the moment I checked in the two girls at the front desk were so sweet and so helpful. Tachi is such a great little hometown, actually a hidden gem. The hotel is quiet and the rooms are spotless.
