This motel is very clean and tidy, the buildings are grounds are well kept. All the amenities are there, very central to the township, would highly recommend

It’s rare that you run into an innkeeper who thoroughly enjoys hosting the wayward traveler. Glenys is one of those people. Being a Kiwi also is an advantage. Yes the rooms are clean, spacious and inviting but it’s the warmth and welcome that seals the deal for the biker on the Hauraki rail trail

I didn't know that there is no staff onsite and that reception is at a different motel that is further than walking distance away. I found this out after I booked. The lights on the outside of the building and lack of good curtains meant that room 1 was not dark at night. I asked to be moved which the staff were happy to oblige. There was no hairdryer, access to the laundry, or space to store bags on checkout day - all things that were advertised The rooms were quite dusty and there was no where to hang towels, face cloths, hand towels or tea towels. The TV was a bit touch and go and kept losing internet connection. However, the location was great.
