If you're on the hunt for somewhere to kip for the night in Tanji, South Korea, there aren't too many places at hand. But you're spoiled for choice if you travel a little outside of town. Take your pick of 60 various sorts of accommodation within 30 kilometres of central Tanji.
If you're down for a short drive, the Dukmanjae and the Hongranmiduk are two excellent accommodation options to take a squiz at. The Jeonju Tourist Hotel and the JEONJUYA MOTEL are also worth checking out.

But don't just limit your travels to Tanji. Take an extra day or two to explore some of the fabulous sights and activities that the wider North Jeolla region offers. The area is known for having gorgeous coastal plains, forests and rivers. After staring slack-jawed at nature's masterpieces, check out popular tourist sights like old towns, fortresses and cathedrals. Want more? Common activities in this part of South Korea include snowboarding, skiing and cross-country skiing, so don't be scared to have a crack!Don't skedaddle before you've gone to the Jeonju Zoo and the Sori Arts Center of Jeolla in Jeonju.
