Tangalooma accommodation with pool

We had such a terrible stay that we left early, forfeiting the money we paid. The place was so overcrowded, with a cruise ship parked out front. Our hotel room had black mold in it and construction fencing and vehicles partially blocked our view of the beach. The walls were paper thin and we were kept up late and woken early by the sounds of other families talking (they weren't even being inconsiderate, the rooms were just so badly soundproofed). The layout of the resort was baffling, with glass perimeter fencing around lawns and cafes to prevent people from freely walking around. My four-year-old asked if we were at the airport when we were in the resort's main building, which gives you a sense of the design. The worst part was the food, which was borderline inedible. Everything was pre-packaged, deep fried in old oil, cooked from frozen (or all of the above). The prices were higher than a nice restaurant but the quality was worse than a service station. I realise this is an island and food needs to be brought in, but I have travelled to far more remote areas with nice things to eat, and the food here was inexcusable. This was the main reason we left, because there was literally nowhere to get a decent meal. The staff were very nice, but obviously it was beyond their power to fix this place. The whole experience was extremely upsetting considering we spent good money to come here. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!

The host was most informative and helpful.Spacious amenities, although the lack of a television was a real concern for us.Furthermore, the one sofa was uncomfortable.

House and location were amazing ! Though be prepared in the hotter months as there is no air conditioning which would make things very uncomfortable. I have raised some issues regarding the cleanliness though I am sure this will be sorted. I did except a little more for the high accommodation costs though we did enjoy our stay. Views were amazing and you can take advantage of all the resorts facilities.

The amenties were good and the view was fantastic !!!!! The best part of the stay was the view and love the location - it's just in front of the jetty. Shops are downstairs so it's really convenient. Every night you will see the FREE dolphin feeding from where you stay :))

The Villa was really clean and tidy. There were some boards for SUP and you don't even have to hire!Jonathan is such a good host!! From the moment we booked the Villa, he has contacted me for a couple of reminder and he gave me a call on the day to welcome our arrival - plus welcome drinks! That was so thoughtful and given us a great memory on the island with our families. Highly recommended his villa. Thank you so much !!

We had an excellent few days. The house is very well laid out and spacious and perfect for two families. The kitchen is huge and the flat grill bbq made cooking for a big group easy. We had more family and friends staying at the resort so it was very convenient albiet up a lot of steps (good exercise!). We all agreed we would definitely stay again.
