The Z2 MTR Exit of the Taipei Station is right outside the building entrance, and the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi is in the same block, there are plenty of dining options to choose from on B1 floor of the department store or the local stores from the street 1 block south.

The room was clean and needed some maintenance. Cracks in the walls in the bathroom, the door to the hallway had many rust spots. Amenities were sparse. There were tea bags with the water heater but no sugar. The heat worked well. I think I left a shirt behind and I need to contact Sky to see if they can send it to me.

Great hotel if your main attraction is not staying in the hotel. We thought of it as staying in our apartment. Very large living space with a nice view of the city with its Mountain View in the background. We had 2 bedrooms with one bedroom having a living room area. An adequate bathroom. That’s all we needed and for the price it’s was unbeatable in my opinion.

This hotel is conveniently located near the Taipei Main station. The room was quite spacious. The laundry took forever though. From washing to drying it took a long time. The hotel itself was hard to find as it’s on a floor on top of a commercial building and not very obvious.

Sky19 stay for vacation in Taipei

Love the spacious room. Also having a refrigerator was wonderful. The hotel has a lounge where you can microwave and cook food, which was very convenient. The only thing that was a minus was the water pressure of the toilet as it took multiple flushes however, the shower pressure was great. Regarding the location, it is very close to the M6 MRT station and lies on the Taipei main station line. Very convenient also the train station is across the street.

The location was very convenient, with easy access to the MRT. Additionally, the free self-serve laundry facility and ironing station were a huge bonus, especially if you prefer to pack light. Conveniently located near Taipei Main Station with many ways to enter. While it does take several minutes to certain parts of the station (Red line: 10m, Taoyuan MRT: 20m) because of the underground maze it's still more convenient than multiple transfers to get around the city. The area is close to many chain restaurants as well as independent food stalls. However, there isn't much to do around that area itself and requires getting on a bus or train to get anywhere. The rooms are decent size and staff is friendly. The free laundry room is a definite bonus for longer stays
