The best part of the hotel is the location. Staffs are friendly. The room is fine. My complaint is the bathroom is too dark. Also if the room is not clean every day, a garbage can should be provided near the elevator area, so we can dispose garbage.

Convenient location just a few steps away from Dongmen station, and just down the alley is a bunch of fruit and veg vendors. Room is quite small for 2 people with suitcases, but bed and shower were great. A nice area to stay if you prefer to be away from the hustle and bustle of the main shopping districts.

Hotel room is average. Bare minimum amenities. Housekeeping doesn't change your bed sheet. But basic tidy up is there. This is basically a place for you to store your stuffs, bath and sleep. The only plus point will be the location. It's just steps away from Dongmen MRT exit 8. Very accessible to most area around Taipei City.

Worth a stay

Excellent location with easy access to the metro. Clean comfortable rooms (although the bed was too hard for my taste) and a very good value. The building only has one very slow elevator which was the only significant downside of the property.

Overall, I'd say Chaiin hotel Dongmen offers one of the most convenient locations in Taipei. The facility is satisfactory in general, though the receptionist area feels a bit cramped and outdated. Also, since there's only one elevator, the wait can be a bit long during the busy hours

Clean room and helpful staff. It is located right above Dongmen metro station and close to major attractions. Good selection of restaurants around the area. I would definitely stay here again.

Great stat for price and location!

Amazing location nice place that does the trick! I got a larger size room since I had a lot of luggage. Not sure how the smaller ones would have been. Friendly staff too!

Convenient to explore Taipei

Great location if exploring Taipei as many things within walking distance or need fast and easy access to the metro system. Hotel is very convenient. Only one elevator so expect to wait at times.

Rooms were small but neatly laid out. Elevator was fast for the most part. Location was the best thing about the hotel. It was right on top of Dongmen station and food was great everywhere

Chaiin hotel is a nice hotel. Room size varies depending on your own needs. I like the breakfast options- food is fresh and delicious, staffs are welcoming and warm. It is located on top of a post office and MRT subway station. So I can easily take the subway to anywhere.
