Nice big room, very clean

Room was clean and very comfortable! Breakfast was good. Had a great time at the hotel bar! Barman Miguel did a superior job tending to us!

We stayed here for one night with friends and overall had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel itself is lovely, the rooms were comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout. The facilities were also excellent. Unfortunately, our experience at dinner let things down slightly. One of the meals (a double smash burger) was completely inedible and was returned, yet it still appeared on the final bill and was charged in full. This was raised at the time and should have been removed. We were also told during a conversation about tipping that staff do not receive tips and that there is no point in leaving one. If this is the case, it’s quite disappointing and not something guests would expect. Overall, a nice hotel and an enjoyable stay, but these issues did take away from what would otherwise have been a great experience.

Staying in this castle was an unforgettable experience for our family of eight. After spending our trip touring so many historic sites, actually getting to stay in a real castle was something special—it truly brought everything to life for us.The property was spacious and comfortable, easily accommodating all of us, and it had such a unique charm you just can’t replicate anywhere else. We also really appreciated all the thoughtful extras—those touches did not go unnoticed and made our stay even more enjoyable.Thank you for such a memorable experience. We would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone looking for something unique and meaningful.

The staff were great, the food in the restaurant was delicious. The location was fantastic, being in the heart of Roscommon town.
