The first is 20 kilometres from downtown, while the second is 13 kilometres away. Jeonju is another place where you can lay back and order up room service like a boss. Located 25 kilometres east of Taejuk, it's where you'll discover the Jeonju Zoo and the Sori Arts Center of Jeolla. The Jeonju Tourist Hotel and Benikea Jeonju Hansung Tourist Hotel are some of the great hotel and apartment options here. 75 kilometres to the southeast of Taejuk you'll also find Namwon, which is home to the Chunwangbong Pension and The Suites Hotel Namwon. Should you choose to stay in Namwon, set aside some time to visit Namwon Recreational Forest and the Namwon National Gugak Center.

1,400,000 residents live in Gwangju. You'll find this district 80 kilometres south of Taejuk. Pungam Reservoir, the 5-18 Memorial Park and the Kimdaejoong Convention Center are some of the best local attractions that are worth checking out.
