Work tip: Get up, stretch a bit, book a South Chungcheong hotel, grab a taxi to the airport, get on a plane, never return. Or something to that effect. While you'll have difficulty staying in the very centre, there is some accommodation not too far away. Select from 2 options within 10 kilometres of Taegoji's heart.

A hectic day of seeing the sights can really zap your energy. Zonk out at Gallery Pension and Anmyeon Plaza Hotel, two of the most central options in the area.

You might like to look into some other hotels, such as the Spa View Hotel or the A2 Hotel Designers. The former is situated 35 kilometres from the centre, and the latter is 35 kilometres away. Otherwise, you could make your way 17 kilometres away from central Taegoji to the Hotel Mudrin.

Attractions and Hotels Near Taegoji

If you've been blessed with the wanderlust gene (no duh, you're here right?), then you won't want to miss out on seeing the wider South Chungcheong region. Old towns and fortresses are a few popular sights that should be on your must-do list. If the outdoors are more your thang, take time out in Taegoji's beaches. Adventurous travellers can also have a go at popular pursuits like mountain climbing and hiking.

Don't blow through before you've gone to the Onyang Folk Museum and Maeng Sa-seong House in Asan. Asan hotels are the Onyang Grand Hotel and Hoseo Hotel. Alternatively, you could stay in Jeonju, 95 kilometres to the southeast of Taegoji, where you can choose from the Jeonju Tourist Hotel and Benikea Jeonju Hansung Tourist Hotel. If you stay in Jeonju, set aside some time to check out the Jeonju Zoo and the Sori Arts Center of Jeolla.

Cheonan is home to some 370,000. It can be found 80 kilometres northeast of Taegoji. A few local attractions worth checking out include the Independence Hall of Korea, Hyundai Bowling Center and the Gakwonsa Temple. You can choose from quite a few hotels and accommodations in Cheonan. These include the Rexhotel, Cheonan Central Tourist Hotel and SKY Hotel. Some of the other accommodation options are the Hotel Ballantine, K2 Hotel, Zaza Hotel and Hotel Cherbourg.
