Book 't Veld hotels

Un seul bémol, la douche de la salle de bain gagnerait à être réaménagée.

First off, there's no reception desk. Which is fine, and whoever helped us over the phone was super nice and very sweet. The checkin code was not opening on my phone so we had to call the number and she helped us right away. There was not a table on the balcony, only a super loose wooden table jimmy rigged onto the railing. It still worked. Weed buds everywhere in the rocks on our balcony. Seems like people before us had a good time. Or the people before them as well. There wasn't enough of anything in my opinion. No note pad. 2 bags of tea? 2 packs of sugar and 2 packs of creamer but 4 pods of coffee? how does this make sense. Hand soap in the shower? What's that about? The body soap smelled SO good. The fridge was pretty warm but in the morning things were a bit cold. There was no wine/water glasses either. Only plastic ones in the bathroom that we used to make cocktails. We had 4 pillows which was AWESOME!! The view was fantastic from the balcony. If you're gonna stay here definitely splurge the extra money to get the room with the balcony, mostly in summer. Spent all night on the balcony playing cards and looking at the view.

1st class

The staff (Coco, Steve, Thomas, Charles) were exceptional, and the only reason I give the hostel high marks. The property was clean, the beds comfortable, but the bad part was the kitchen with non-working fridge, no soap and paper towels- those would be nice even at an economy class hostel. Thank you anyway! M

Room showers go hot and cold, causing burn on skin, in multiple rooms

What we like : - It’s a nice hotel with plenty of art work & localized in a beautiful & natural place - Their breakfast is good and we like what we ate at their restaurant. - There are great amenities for kids : kids room, playground, outdoor chess… It’s a nice place for families. What we don’t like : - Swimming pool was too cold. - Our room was very dark. It’s a pity for a suite. - And the main pain point was the staff which was very unhelpful : no advice regarding the area or the hotel : they gave us the keys, that’s it. They did’nt help us for finding a bike adapted to the size of our son or to charge our car… It’s a pity.
