The lobby had a stale cigarette smell and the lobby and halls were cold. No carpet in the room, i was glad i had my slippers. The couch was ok to sit on. It was slightly more comfortable than the bed. The bed was awful. Our first room had no heat so we had to change rooms. A guy in the parking lot saud his room had no heat & the dryer was broken, so he couldnt dry his clotges. He was in his long johns. The free breakfast was terrible. Juice was empty, sausages were ok. Grits, cereal. The dining room was cold too and it all felt very uninviting. We canceled our 2nd night. I didnt even want to stay our 1st night but it was late & we were tired. No cable TV either. Only local channels. Still working with expedia to get our 2nd night refunded. No phones in the room so i had to use the website to get the number, and then nobody picked up anyway. Im going to hestitate to ever stay at another Ramada, but I will for sure never stay at that one again. It wasnt that bad a few years ago when i stayed with my mom while taking her to the airport.

No breakfast was available, my room had stray hairs everywhere, the hotel was old and you could tell because of the smell, the restaurant i ordered from was not great, i ordered the hot wings and fries. Chicken had very little sauce but they were good and fries were old and not fresh at all. Will not return.

This is an airport hotel and the most convenient for BHM. It is an excellent value for an overnight stay and we would stay there again, but be aware that the BHM airport is not in a good part of town and there are limited options for dining. It's great for an "overnight" before an early flight, but not as a destination spot for exploring Birmingham.

This is a conveniently located, well priced option for those using Birmingham Airport. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. The room is clean. There is a new restaurant / bar open on site- which is very helpful because there are no other options close by. The hotel itself shows age and wear and is isolated by itself at the edge of the airport and industrial area. You can park and leave your car there for half the cost of economy parking at the airport. The hotel provides a shuttle.

Some of the previous reviews noted that the facility is old and I must agree that this facility is pretty old. From the sheets, to the bathrooms, the doors and just about everything else. Despite all that, its clean, conveniently located, and its at a reasonable price.

While checking in the staff determined and had a conversation with each other that they didn't have the room type I reserved, however they never talked to me directly about the change. Didnt matter to me that the room was changing but there was zero attempt to get my opinion. Then when i got into the room there was a live lizard in my room, something in the toilet that had not been flushed in who knows how long, strange staining within the room and on the couch, under the AC unit it was exposed interior of the wall, etc. Not sure what the lizard was eating to stay alive but I wasn't going to stick around to find out. Then they would not refund me for my choice to leave the hotel.

You get what you pay for

You get what you pay for. All of the outside doors are closed except the lobby and since they provide airport parking, the lot is pretty full. The hotel is rundown and there is a lot of poor cover up work done.

Absolutely appalled that they are in business.

The room was stripped down. The pictures were even gone from the wall. It was musty and the towels had holes. Front desk was rude and the ac didn’t work.
