Photos don't do the rooms justice, they are larger than shown, toiletries, gowns, kettle with milk in fridge, cereal and bowls. View from window was lovely but you have to stand on bed to see it. Shower was good. Didn't eat in the restaurant but beer garden was good. We forgot to put the sign on door so room wasn't made up nor toiletries/supplies replenished which was a shame. I did message to ask if they could be but disappointingly never got a reply. Air conditioning good

Check in was hard to navigate as it was at the bar and not at the lobby. The room is renovated however we had a very sleepless night as the karaoke and partying downstairs went to 2am it was very loud. The rooms should be separated or there should be no karaoke/ live music below guests. Perhaps they are trying to do too much. Going home very tired

From our arrival, every one of the staff were amazingly friendly, upbeat and helpful. The hotel had a relaxed, happy, comfortable atmosphere. All our meals were excellent and service was prompt and plentiful. The recent renovation has been done to a very high standard, our room was clean, new, comfortable with an brand new impressive bathroom. Checkin was easy and parking plentiful.

What a fantastic hotel. It has got a restaurant and a sports bar. The rooms are decorated to a very high standard. Choice of pillows and a dressing gown add to the experience. A nespresso machine , fridge and kettle are all provided. Plus cutlery and crocks for your use. We loved our stay in Tewantin and would highly recommend the Royal Mail Hotel. Oh and check out the old photos !

Everything in the room was good but I went for a walk at 8am and was locked out if the hotel, there was staff walking around inside who just said ‘no’ without checking if I was actually staying there. Was very inconvenient and would’ve been worse had I not had friends to let me inside

Staff friendly and courteous. Great restaurant/pub. Computer difficulty extending stay by a day while checking in caused me to be charged twice for the additional day for one of the rooms. Contacted Royal Mail via their website when I saw credit card charge, but no response. Disappointing because otherwise I would recommend it highly.

Fantastic place to stay when in Tewantin. Rooms are newly renovated with all mod cons (even dressing gowns!), in excellent condition and well presented, very clean and tidy, obviously well maintained. The pub itself is excellent with various bars and beer gardens, being able to stay there makes it even better. Next time I'm in Tewantin, I'll stay at Royal Mail again. Highly recommended.
