Key pickup was simple, location was handy to shops, board walk, cafe etc but being opposite mangroves meant a methane smell that permeated into the house (seasonal?). House itself was neat and had pretty much everything we needed. The fresh commercial linen was a nice touch. Appliances all worked and basic supplies of dishwashing supplies and laundry powder was helpful. BYO loo paper because there’s just one roll per loo to start with. Separate toilet light is a sensor light but works, just wave. Second loo in bathroom was great to have. One draw back is that living area is a gold fish bowl. Three large windows without blinds or curtains face the street; the street is quiet being at end of the culdesac but people do walk by semi frequently. Also, picture shows a front fence which is not there now- parking is off street but not secure.

Caloundra

House needs a few additional considerations to make it more appealing. 1.) Wifi should be a standard inclusion 2.) There should be more cutlery and cooking utensils. (There was not even a potato peeler.) 3.) There should be more bowls, saucepans, etc 4.) The shower should be fitted with a proper soap holder 5.) There should be a bbq at the house. Again, this should be standard. 6.) As nice as the pool was, there was no 'comfort' around the pool and not really a nice space to sit. Rocks on the ground, untended garden, no shade. 7.) There should be a tap that is accessible in the front yard. 8.) The bedside tables could be more substantial with a drawer unit as there was really no furniture for putting clothes in. 9.) Lamps on the bedside tables would be nice too.
